State GED Test: Information

Bristol is an official GED® Test Site. Not only can you register for the test here, but you will be able to take the GED® Test every month at our facility.

GED® Tests Accommodations

Age Eligibility

  • Individuals 17 years of age or older AND no longer enrolled in school
  • Applicants 17 & 18 years of age must submit documentation that they have withdrawn from day school for at least 6 months OR that their 9th grade class has graduated

Test Fees

  • Applicants 21 years of age or older: $13 FEE (non-refundable)
  • Applicants under the age of 21: NO FEE
  • Veterans: NO FEE
  • To retake or reapply for the test: $13.00 FEE (non-refundable)

GED® Test consists of four sections

  • Science (90 minutes)
  • Social Studies (90 minutes)
  • Reasoning Through Language Arts (150 minutes)
  • Mathematical Reasoning (90 minutes)
